The art of running downhill & "If you can, ask if you want to, before you do."

I highly recommend this episode of Armchair Expert podcast, featuring Matthew Mcconaughey, which the awesome!

Aside from being extremely entertaining (all the accents and stories are great!), it has A LOT of self-reflection and great lessons, including these two gems:

❶ Mcconaughey talks about "the art of running downhill" -- the notion that timing is important, and it's not always wise or productive to *push* & climb. Sometimes, it's time to run downhill. But there's also an art to that: If you run too fast downhill, you'll tumble.

❷ He has this great mantra to help with burnout and being "too nice", not being able to say no: "If you can, ask if you want to, before you do."

How great! "If you can, ask if you want to, before you do."
