Answer: I always think there is never a “right” or “wrong” about doing anything — you can do everything right, tastefully, and you can do everything wrong, carelessly.
I like the idea!
My advice is to do it very confidently and from position of power: “And, if you liked this presentation, it’s YOUR LUCKY DAY! I’m actually unemployed - just today!! - so if you’d like to have me on your team, let me know right away! You never know how long my talents can sit aside! Cheers all!”
You can make it even funnier: "Nobody? Anybody? Don't form lines now, folks!" Remember, everyone loves a confident, funny, capable co-worker! You already proved the last quality by giving your presentation! Now sell the other two!
