I never liked the word “vulnerable.”


Merriam-Webster Inc. defines it as “capable of being physically or emotionally wounded; open to attack or damage.”


I think what we celebrate as “being vulnerable” achieves EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE.


It empowers.


It protects.


It creates stronger bonds.


I prefer “self aware,” “honest,” “confident.”
