I never liked the word “vulnerable”

I never liked the word “vulnerable.”

Merriam-Webster Inc. defines it as “capable of being physically or emotionally wounded; open to attack or damage.”

I think what we celebrate as “being vulnerable” achieves EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE.

It empowers.

It protects.

It creates stronger bonds.

I prefer “self aware,” “honest,” “confident.”

Peter Dinklage is on point 👌🏽
