Issa has picked up a habit of saying “gooood morrrning!” to every toy / object we turn on for him.
(I think it’s because we usually turn on his toys in the morning — so he associates “good morning” with turning things on.)
The way he says it though, and the joy he exudes in the moment, made me realize me how much more gratitude I can have for things around me that help me every single day.
Sometimes we take for granted, throw around, or even abuse, our nearest belongings: vacuum cleaners, shavers, phones, glasses, etc. We don’t service them, clean them, care for them, thank them, like we should.
Gratitude is an attitude, and so it can begin with the smallest objects around us.
