The answer to "where do I want to be in 10 years," is, "where do I want to be in 10 hours, in 10 days?"
You can't decide for yourself in 10 years.
But you CAN decide for yourself now.
Don't pick a goal, an end point ("Partner!" "Director!" "Boss!"), and work backwards from it.
Instead, learn to listen to yourself, and build TOWARDS goals.
As my dear friend Drew Harrison said, "That one moment of achievement of a goal: 'I'm here!' passes so quickly."
But learning to listen to yourself, and building the confidence and self-love to do so, gives you lifelong direction -- it never runs out.
Build towards a goal, not backwards from it.
