Approaching problems voluntarily v involuntarily: different brain circuitries at play!

If you approach a problem voluntarily, the circuits in your brain that are engaged are the circuits relating to exploration and curiosity.

If you approach the same problem involuntarily, the circuits in your brain that are engaged are the circuits relating to fight, flight or freeze responses.

You have SUCH A HIGHER CHANCE of resolving or managing your problems if you approach them voluntarily, when you're in control, rather than putting them off and waiting for them to foist themselves upon you!
