10 years ago today, I snapped this shot walking out of my apartment for the first time after 3 days, in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy.
Something so ordinary, yet so hopeful and beautiful, colored this moment.
No complaints, no whining, no nagging — just simply sweeping away, to start the day, now that night was over; a testament to human spirit and resilience.
