Winning image in the Paleoecology category of the BMC Ecology & Evolution journal’s 2023 image competition:

Taken by Jordan Mallon from the Canadian Museum of Nature, it shows an illustration of the inside of a dinosaur egg. 

This is based on a pair of hadrosauroid dinosaur eggs and embryos found in China, dated between 72 and 66 million years ago.
