One of the most amazing joys of parenthood so far is to see how INCREDIBLY HAPPY Issa is in the mornings.
Maybe I’m projecting, but sometimes when I’m there the moment he first opens his eyes — You can literally see on his face, in his smile: “OMG!!! I’M ALIVE!!! IT’S ANOTHER DAY!!!”
It’s such a real, fresh reminder, every day — OMG, I’M ALIVE!!
It makes it easier to approach work with that attitude too.
