The fascinating science behind Zoom fatigue:



When your visual field expands, it's a message to your brain to relax -- there's nothing threatening you, for you to focus your vision on. 



That's why looking at horizons, oceans, or mountains is relaxing. 



Conversely, when your visual field narrows, it's a message to your brain to increase your stress and alertness levels -- there's something specific you need to focus on and deal with.
