Take your "self" out of every situation.
How many of our grievances / complaints / resentments are because we perceive something as an affront to our "self" -- or because we are trying to defend or protect our "self"?
But our "self" is, ultimately, just an idea, an image, even a mask sometimes.
We are trying to defend, protect, advance this idea, this image, this mask that we have constructed of/for ourselves.
If you take your "self" (not yourself -- your self) out of every situation, you can just watch -- observe -- the situation.
Take your "self" out of every situation, and watch so many of your grievances magically melt away.
