Simple does not equal easy.
Simple is, actually, very hard.
Sometimes we think if we keep things simple, others may perceive it as easy — lacking hard work.
So we add jargon, too much detail, too much background, too many scenarios, too many recommendations — too many slides, words, thoughts.
Keeping it simple is a skill I always look out for — when I interview, coach, or manage.
If you can communicate a very complex thing in one sentence, or one slide, or one good analogy, I know that you truly understand it.
Keep it simple!
