Rules of Parenthood I’ve learned in the past 4 months:
🤤 Eat AS FAST as you can. You never know how many seconds you have until the next crisis!
📱 Never EVER not take your phone when you go ANYWHERE. You never know just how long you may be stuck there!
⛑ You will experience the most random muscle, joint, neck, shoulder, and even completely unrelated pains. The other day I jumped up to get something out of the cabinet and my tooth filling hurt!
🌎 Forget about childcare, education, medical, the big ticket items. Even the most basic necessities — diapers! formula! — are SO EXPENSIVE. This is a social, economic, MORAL, and national security issue.
💪🏼 Huge, huge, huge appreciation, love and thank you to WOMEN and MOTHERS for doing absolutely the most miraculous, challenging, ridiculously awesome thing — AND with so much GRACE, humility, and patience. I feel humbled every day.
