The most important person in the company is NOT the CEO, or the largest shareholder.
It's not the CFO, the founder, or even your manager.
The most important person in the company is the person RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU.
It's the person you're talking to on Zoom, or at lunch, or at a company event.
We all remember leaders who were 100% present when they were talking to us -- leaders who remembered our spouse's name, asked how our dog (or cat) was doing, and didn't get distracted by email or slack notifications when they were listening to us.
With authoritative leaders, it's "all about me."
With charismatic leaders, it's "all about you."
Be an "all about you" person.
