Being a firm counsel is like having a handful of balls; sprinting forward to take them to the finish line; then sprinting back to grab a handful more to take to the finish line.
Being in house counsel is like having dozens of balls; sprinting in between them to push each one, just a little bit more forward, every day.
(Being an M&A counsel, in house, is kind of like doing both š)
